Warranty Information

To keep our pricing as
low as possible, please adhere to the
following policy:
1. Any product where
the factory packaging seal has been broken
is subject to a 10% open box fee.
2. Returns must be
made within 14 days of the original
purchase.
3. Include all
original packing materials, manuals and
accessories to avoid additional fees.
4. Software purchases
are not returnable unless defective.
Software will be replaced with the exact
same title, no exceptions.
5. All close out,
clearance or used product sales are final,
no returns or refunds. The warranty
listed below does still applies.
6. If you paid by
check, a refund will be mailed after your
check has cleared and funds are in our
possession.
7. Security deposits
for computer systems or special order items
are non-refundable.
New Computer System
Warranty
All new computer
systems carry a 1-year parts and labor
warranty. The warranty guarantees the
computer system will be free of
manufacturing defects. If a part within the
system fails, we will replace it with the
same part or a comparable part if an exact
replacement is not available. Software is
guaranteed to work in factory configuration
only. If there is a software problem, your
computer system may be restored to the
original factory configuration. One Stop
Computer Shop is not responsible for any
data storage, retrieval or recovery.
New Component
Warranty
All new components,
unless otherwise indicated, carry a 6-month
exchange warranty from the date of purchase.
The warranty provides that the components
will be free of manufacturing defects. If a
component fails, we will replace it with the
same component or a comparable substitute if
an exact replacement is not available. CPU’s
and hard drives carry a 20-day exchange
warranty from date of purchase. CPU's
and hard drives are not returnable once
opened unless for warranty issues.
Closeout, Clearance
or Used Product Warranty
All closeout,
clearance or used products carry a 30-day
operational warranty. If a product fails, we
will replace with an identical product or
give store credit for the purchase amount at
our option. No cash refunds will be given.
Notice
All products sold by
One Stop Computer Shop are intended for
professional installation. Product
warranties do not provide labor to install
any component or software that was not
originally installed by One Stop Computer
Shop. Product warranties do not provide
labor necessary to diagnose/repair a
component or computer system that was not
originally installed/built by One Stop
Computer Shop. Such labor, if provided by
One Stop Computer Shop, will be billable at
our standard labor rate. Component
warranties do not include a warranty of
compatibility. Product warranty replacements
do not extend the term of the original
product warranty.
The warranty does
not apply if:
(a) The product is
damaged by accident, improper use, or
damaged by negligence of customers.
(b) Attempts have been
made to repair or alter the product by
anyone other than those appointed by One
Stop Computer Shop.
(c) The serial number
or ID labels are removed or tampered with.
Under no circumstances
shall One Stop Computer Shop be liable for
any loss or damage,
direct, consequential, or incidental arising
out of the inability to utilize the product.
One Stop Computer Shop makes no warranty
other than the ones set forth herein. Such
warranty is in lieu of all other warranties,
expressed or implied, including any warranty
of merchantability or fitness for a
particular purpose, and such constitutes the
only warranty made with respect to the
goods.
